Engine 403
Put into service in 2020, Engine 403 initially was housed in the Centralia Station. With the purchase of Engine 402 in 2022, Engine 403 was moved to Barrington Station.
Engine 403 is built on a 2019 IHC MV with a poly-body manufactured by Simon Fire Equipment in Farley, IA. In addition to providing faster fire suppression services to the Barrington Lakes subdivision, Engine 403’s location in the Barrington Station allow faster response times to mutual-aid requests to the districts southeast of ours. Engine 403 carries 800 feet of attack hose, and 600 feet of supply hose. In addition, Engine 403 carries extrication tools used in motor-vehicle accidents.
